Ingredients


 

Main Ingredients

 

  • 2 x Medium Eggs
  • Butter (15 grams)
  • Milk (5 ml)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

 

Additional Ingredient

 

  • Can of Tomatoes (400 Grams)

 

Other Things You Will Need


 

  • Frying pan
  • 750 watt microwave
  • Jug or large cup
  • Hand whisk or fork
  • Large bowl
  • Food scales

 

Before You Start Cooking


 

  • Wash hands for 20 seconds using soap and water
  • Place all ingredients and other things you will need on the kitchen worktop
  • Weigh or measure ingredients as required

 

Method


 

  • Put the butter in a jug
  • Add the milk
  • Add the two eggs
  • Place the jug into the microwave for 30 seconds on full power
  • Use a hand whisk or fork to mix the liquid until it is a full yellow colour, like custard
  • Place the jug into the microwave for a further 60 seconds
  • If the mixture is still partly liquid then stir and place jug into the microwave for a further 60 seconds
  • Once ready the eggs will retain heat so don't worry about them while do continue cooking

 

Rest of Breakfast


 

  • Open can of tomatoes and heat in a microwave for 2 minutes
  • Move the eggs around in jug using a fork and place over hot tomatoes
  • Serve

 

Notes


 

  • Any type of egg can be used including barn, free-range and enriched omega 3 eggs, but make sure that they are fresh
  • If using 900 watt microwave then further cook for 30 seconds rather than 60 seconds
