My granddaughter gave me this book as a present as she is always fussing about my health and how I should look after myself. After using all the habits for over six months, I have lost over 3 stones in body weight. During this time I had a diabetes check where my condition had improved and my medication was slowly reduced as advised by my doctor. I am now happy to say that I am medication and diabetes type 2 free at the grand age of 82. I can only say what a book and I feel that everyone should give it a read.
I have attended the gym constantly 3 times per week for many years and taken nutritional advice from my instructor to lose weight. I have also seen my doctor who has given me several diet factsheets to try with the hope that the weight would come off. All that I have tried simply fails and frustratingly my weight stays put. After watching one of the videos from the PowerPlan Project, I felt I would relating to what was being said so I decided to give the book a try. I am now 6 months into using 6 of the habits from the book, and I am happy to say that I have lost 2 ½ stone in body weight. I would have been happy with a few pounds but losing so much weight in so little time is amazing. While I have been losing weight I have attended the gym as normal and will continue in the future.
I am now looking forward to working out at the gym and carrying on with the new habits I have made so I can reach my weight loss target, another 2 stone in the next 6 months. Reading the PowerPlan book, for me, has resulted in weight loss and my weight nightmare being a thing of the past. Thank you so much.
I have purchased the PowerPlan book which made me think about my lifestyle. I realised while reading the book that I am constantly eating convenience processed food that is simply not good for my health. I have decided to cook using back in the kitchen so I know what I am eating and I also make packed lunches or home-cooked food that can be reheated for when I am not at home.
Since I have made this simple change my health feels much better and I have improved my confidence. Thank you PowerPlan, I can't recommend this book enough to other people.
I have used this book for 3 months and I have lost 16 pounds. I must confess that I have only used 4 of the 17 habits, but that is enough for me to lose weight at a pace where I feel safe and healthy.
My bonus is that my boyfriend recently asked me to marry him, so I am now an engaged more confident woman which have been made possible by this PowerPlan.
