Ingredients
- Salmon Fillet (220 grams)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Other Things You Will Need
- Frying Pan
- Spatula
- Plate
- Food Scales
Before You Start Cooking
- Defrost salmon for 12 hours in the fridge until thawed, do not use a microwave on a defrost setting
- Wash hands for 20 seconds using soap and water
- Place all ingredients and other things you will need on the kitchen worktop
- Weigh or measure ingredients as required
Method
- Place the frying pan on the hob using maximum heat
- Put the salmon fillet skin side down in the pan
- Reduce the heat to medium allowing the salmon to continue sizzling in the pan
- After 1 minute use a spatula to move the salmon around in the pan to avoid sticking
- Lightly press on the salmon fillet while frying to remove any excess oil in the fish
- After 3 minutes turn the salmon fillet over using a spatula and cook for a further 3 minutes
- Remove from the pan and put on a plate
- Serve

- The fish fillets are very filling so it will reduce any hunger pangs that you would normally experience during the day
