Delicious Pan-Fried Salmon Fillet - A Seared Symphony of Oceanic Delight!

Ingredients


 

  • Salmon Fillet (220 grams)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Other Things You Will Need


 

  • Frying Pan
  • Spatula
  • Plate
  • Food Scales

 

 

Before You Start Cooking


 

  • Defrost salmon for 12 hours in the fridge until thawed, do not use a microwave on a defrost setting
  • Wash hands for 20 seconds using soap and water
  • Place all ingredients and other things you will need on the kitchen worktop
  • Weigh or measure ingredients as required

 

Method


 

  • Place the frying pan on the hob using maximum heat
  • Put the salmon fillet skin side down in the pan
  • Reduce the heat to medium allowing the salmon to continue sizzling in the pan
  • After 1 minute use a spatula to move the salmon around in the pan to avoid sticking
  • Lightly press on the salmon fillet while frying to remove any excess oil in the fish
  • After 3 minutes turn the salmon fillet over using a spatula and cook for a further 3 minutes
  • Remove from the pan and put on a plate
  • Serve

 

Notes


 

  • This is excellent for weight loss and improvement in diabetes type 2, cholesterol and heart conditions
  • The fish fillets are very filling so it will reduce any hunger pangs that you would normally experience during the day
  • Salmon fillet is a good source for vitamin A, C and B6 for aiding weight loss. 
  • Salmon also contains omega-3 fatty acids that help to boost our 'good mood' serotonin levels and protect the nervous system
