- Weigh or measure ingredients as required
- Boil a kettle of water
Method
- Remove the pork loin from the packaging and let it rest for a few minutes
- Place pan on the hob using medium heat
- Put the pork loin in the pan without any oil and fry for 5 minutes, with the lid on, until golden brown
- Turn the pork loin using kitchen tongs and fry for a further 5 minutes, with the lid on, until golden brown
- Increase the hob heat to maximum, add boiling water until level to the pork loin
- Stir and keep the pork loin boiling for 8 minutes
- Next measure 75 grams, or small cup of couscous and put into a mixing bowl
- Add two small cups, or 150 ml, of boiling water to the couscous, cover with a tea towel and leave for 10 minutes while you are frying the pork loin
- Turn the pork loin using kitchen tongs and stir forcing each pork loin to the bottom of the pan so the extra flavour is collected
- Add a cap of BBQ Seasoning and stir
- Continue to boil the pork loin for a further 8 minutes or until the water becomes thicker creating a sauce.
- Ideally, when the sauce is stirred there will be a sauce patch at the bottom of the pan indicating that the dish is ready
- Remove the tea towel and divide the couscous between two plates using a fork
- Remove the pork loin from the frying pan using the kitchen tongs and place on top of the couscous
- Add a little BBQ sauce dotted around the plate to make the dish more enticing for your guests or small children
