Back In The Kitchen - BBQ Pork Loin - Recipe Sheet



BBQ Pork Loin - A Sizzlin' Symphony of Sweet and Smoky Perfection!

Quick and easy BBQ pork loin that looks and taste delicious with its own BBQ sauce to make it a extra special healthy treat.


Ingredients



  • 4 x Pork Loin Steaks
  • Boiling Water (Approx. 200 ml)
  • BBQ seasoning (1 cap)

Other Things You Will Need



  • Frying pan
  • 750 watt Microwave
  • Kitchen Tongs
  • Kettle

Before You Start Cooking



  • Defrost pork loin for 12 hours in the fridge until thawed or use a microwave on defrost setting for 6 minutes
  • Wash hands for 20 seconds using soap and water
  • Place all ingredients and other things you will need on the kitchen worktop
  • Boil a kettle of water

Method



  • Remove the pork loin from the packaging and let it rest for a few minutes
  • Place frying pan on the hob using medium heat
  • Put the pork loin in the frying pan without any oil and fry for 5 minutes, with the lid on, until golden brown
  • Turn the pork loin using kitchen tongs and fry for a further 5 minutes, with the lid on, until golden brown
  • Increase the hob heat to maximum, add the boiling water level to the pork loin
  • Stir and keep the pork loin boiling for 8 minutes
  • Turn the pork loin using the kitchen tongs and stir forcing each pork loin to the bottom of the pan so extra flavour is collected
  • Add the cap of BBQ Seasoning and stir
  • Continue to boil the pork loin for a further 8 minutes or until the water becomes thicker creating a sauce.
  • Ideally, when the sauce is stirred there will be a sauce patch at the bottom of the pan indicating that the dish is ready
  • Remove the pork loin from the frying pan using the kitchen tongs
  • Serve
