Ingredients
- 5% fat Meatballs (12 pack)
- Gravy Granules (20 grams)
- Spaghetti (157 Grams)
- Boiling Water (280 ml or ½ Pint)
- Salt to soften and flavour the Spaghetti
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Other Things You Will Need
- Saucepan
- Kettle
- Baking Tray
- Kitchen Foil
- Kitchen Tongs or Fork
- Jug or a Mug
- Food Scales
Before You Start Cooking
- Leave the meatballs overnight in the fridge to defrost or use a microwave on defrost setting for 5 minutes
- Wash hands for 20 seconds using soap and water
- Place all ingredients and other things you will need on the kitchen worktop
- Weigh or measure ingredients as required
- Make sure that you snap the spaghetti in half for easier cooking
- Preheat the Oven using Gas Mark 6 / 200 degrees C / 400 degrees F
- Boil a kettle of water
Method
- Place meatballs on a baking tray, no need to add extra oil
- Cover meatballs with aluminium foil
- Put in oven and cook for 30 minutes
- Heat pan on the hob using maximum heat
- Fill a pan with boiling water and add a good pinch of salt
- Add the spaghetti and boil for 10 – 15 minutes or until soft, stirring occasionally
- Weigh around 20 grams of gravy granules and place in a jug
- Pour 280 ml or ½ pint of boiling water in a jug or cup and add the gravy granules, stir and leave for 10 minutes
- When the meatballs are cooked, carefully remove the foil. They should be a nice brown colour, if not then put them back in the oven without the foil for a further 5 minutes
- Drain the spaghetti and place half in a pasta or cereal bowl
- Place 6 meatballs from the baking tray using kitchen tongues or fork on top of the spaghetti
- Pour the thickened gravy over the meatballs
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Serve
